Launching my travel blog Travel Jael

In 2018 I finally launched my very own travel blog: Travel Jael. This had been my dream for at least 10 years, so it was a very big moment to finally have it come true!

Although I planned and designed Travel Jael for almost a year, most of the work with the site was done during the fall of 2018. I designed and wrote the content and Tuukka Meriläinen did the technical implementation.

Travel Jael’s aim is to encourage people to discover and learn more about the world, whether it be in real life through travel or as a virtual voyage reading the blog.

As a journalist I’m naturally curious and love meeting new people and finding out fascinating facts about the places I visit. Through my blog I hope to share this with a greater audience.

Recurring themes on the blog are:

• History and visiting historical sites
• Active travel and staying in shape while travelling
• Conscious and responsible travel
