Faktapp application

The Faktapp application for smartphones was launched in 2016. The application was designed as a learning support for college students throughout college and especially targeting those studying for their matriculation examination (final exams).

Working at the development unit at KSF Media, I was involved in this project planning and producing material for the launch and marketing of the new application. In practice this meant both planning and producing content marketing, writing press releases, helping plan and assisting during the trade fair for education and pedagogy Educa and even doing guerilla marketing. I also helped with editing and translating the content in the application.

Faktapp quickly climbed to the App Store list of most downloaded applications, even becoming the most downloaded free application in Finland.

Working with Faktapp we collaborated with both teachers, students as well as with the service design agency Palmu.
