Starting at Varuboden-Osla in the spring of 2016 one of my first projects was re-making the employee magazine. After a break from publishing it altogether Varuboden-Osla had reassumed publishing the employee magazine in 2015. It was in need of an update and of a more personal touch.
When I started planning the renewal I used myself as starting point. What would make me pick up the copy and read it? People and exciting stories, relevant information and news about the employees’ work field as well as a touch of humor was the answer.
Currently I am putting together my fourth employee magazine for Varuboden-Osla which, if all goes well, will be the first one to be published digitally as well as in print.
Personal touch. Having these local producers from Torrbacka Trädgård on the cover of the employee magazine (edition 1/2017) gave the magazine a really familiar feel.
Careerpaths. Each magazine has a recurring article-series called “A Day In My Shoes” where a new career and employee is presented, for example what kind of studies are required for the job and what a typical day looks like.
